Palliative Care Pioneer Honored by American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society has conferred its highest honor on Dr. Diane Meier, who has led the growth of palliative care in this country, both by her own practice in the field, as well as through her leadership in the Center to Advance Palliative Care (APC). It is very gratifying to see the world of oncology embracing the world of palliative care so significantly!

Please see the video tribute the American Cancer Society created in honor of Dr. Meier. We offer our thanks to them, and our deepest thanks and congratulations to Dr. Meier!
