Fundraising for Almost Home Kids

Thank you for your interest in having an event or donation drive to benefit Almost Home Kids at OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois.

Our Mission is to serve all of God’s children with the greatest care and love. Without compassionate people like you, this important work cannot happen.

Fundraising Ideas

There are a variety of events or donation drives you can organize to benefit Almost Home Kids.

Use of Logos and Names

Once your event or donation drive is approved, we will provide you with the appropriate logos for your marketing materials stating that proceeds will benefit Almost Home Kids at OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois.

Anything with the Almost Home Kids or OSF Children’s Hospital name or logo must be approved prior to printing and distribution.

Promote your Event on Social Media

Don’t be shy! Tell your friends and family why Almost Home Kids at OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois is important to you.
Make sure you let them know the time, date and location of the event and specific details on how they can sign up and donate.
Be consistent! Make your followers excited to learn more about your event or donation drive. Create a buildup with consistent posts before the event. Don’t forget to share details, pictures, fundraising totals and more after your event.

Say Thank You

Show your appreciation by sending thank-you letters to everyone who participated, supported or volunteered.

Also, don’t be shy about sharing your thanks on social media.

Making Your Donation

Almost Home Kids must receive the proceeds from your event within 15 days of the conclusion of the event.

Checks should be made payable to Almost Home Kids at OSF HealthCare Children's Hospital of Illinois, and mailed to:

Almost Home Kids at OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois reserves the right at any time to withdraw its support of your event or donation drive and the use of the names and logos. If the event is cancelled, the organizer will notify Cheryl Murin (Almost Home Kids community outreach coordinator) within three days of cancellation.
